HOST COMMITTEE

The Tampa Bay Area Committee on Foreign Relations established the Host Committee in 2007 in an effort to further engage a younger community of members and to ensure the smooth integration of new members into the membership at large.
The Host Committee’s primary event is the New Members Reception, a special event, usually scheduled in the spring after most new members have attended at least one regular meeting.
During the first two years, the Host Committee was honored that former Pakistani Ambassador to the United States and Mrs. (Arnaz) Jamsheed Marker opened their residence and hosted the group.
Since then events have been hosted at the home of (Chairman) Jack and Tifi Bierley.
